How do you know it's a new era?
WWE and AEW are both exited to let fans know that it's a new era. What does that mean?

Stephanie McMahon had just completed a triumphant walk to the ring at night two of Wrestlemania when she grabbed a microphone to welcome the crowd and get them fired up for more action on the grandest stage of them all. Her voice and delivery are familiar. She is a charismatic speaker and mixes in the occasional growl sound for emphasis, just like her father.
The message, however, was different. Stephanie was there to notify the fans that they were part of something special. WWE was undergoing a big change, and those lucky people were there as witnesses. It was a new chapter. A new story. Maybe even a new book? I lost track of the metaphors over the course of the weekend.
The point was this: WWE was entering a new era.
